Find the A-number
On your iPad, open Settings → General → About. Tap Model Number to reveal a code such as A2696. On models with a printed number, you can also find it on the back.

Which iPad models does it fit?

How does the rotating hinge work?
The screen section turns through 360° and adjusts into different viewing positions while your iPad stays in the fitted shell. Use it for typing, showing someone your screen or a relaxed viewing setup.
How do I connect the keyboard?
Turn on the keyboard and put it into Bluetooth pairing mode, then open Bluetooth in your iPad settings and choose the keyboard from the device list. Follow the included instructions for the pairing shortcut used by your keyboard.
Can I change the backlight colour and brightness?
Yes. The keyboard offers seven backlight colours and three brightness levels. Use the keyboard’s function shortcuts to change the light, or turn it off when you do not need it.
What can I do with the trackpad?
Move the pointer, scroll and use supported multi-touch gestures on your iPad. Gesture availability depends on your iPadOS version and the app you are using; pointer and trackpad preferences can be adjusted in Settings.
Does the Pencil holder charge my Pencil?
The built-in holder is a place to store your Pencil. Charging and pairing depend on your Pencil model and iPad; the holder itself is not a separate Pencil charger.
How do I charge the keyboard?
Use the keyboard’s USB-C charging port. Its status display helps you check battery and connection information. The keyboard and iPad have separate batteries, so the keyboard’s charging port does not charge your iPad.
What is included?
You are buying the keyboard case in the colour and iPad model you select. An iPad and Apple Pencil are not included.
Can I use it with an Android tablet?
This collection is designed for the Apple iPad models in the selector. The fitted shell is model-specific and is not intended as a universal Android tablet case.

I prepare my lesson with the keyboard open, using the trackpad to move between notes. When the student arrives, I rotate the display so they can see the exercise while the keys stay facing me. Afterward I fold it back to annotate the page with a Pencil. I did not expect to use all of those positions in one session, but I do.
